TAA Compliance: Flex Matrix Series
What is TAA?
The Trade Agreements Act (TAA) is a U.S. federal law that requires products purchased by the U.S. government and certain federally funded institutions to be manufactured or substantially transformed in a TAA-designated country. TAA-designated countries include the United States and most U.S. trade partner nations — notably excluding China and several other countries.
TAA compliance is a procurement requirement for:
- U.S. federal government agencies (GSA schedules, DoD contracts)
- State and local government agencies using federal funding
- K–12 schools and universities receiving federal grants (E-Rate, CARES Act, etc.)
- Healthcare organizations receiving Medicare/Medicaid funding
- Any entity purchasing under a GSA Schedule contract
FLEX Matrix TAA Compliance Status
